Water Water

Water plays a crucial role in agriculture and food production, health hygiene, folk tales, songs, myths and religious rituals.

Nalpar project process with the adivasi/ indigenous artists and local communities in Kondagaon and our research concerning many aspects of the water situation such as availability of fresh water / state of water and its relationship with development/ mining /decreasing groundwater level / privatization of natural resources / riparian rights and the need to play a critical role in maintaining equity and the sensitivity in the use of water in Bastar in Chattisgarh State, led to making a video ‘Water Water’ in 2004/2005.
